Johnston, T. in Salisbury Court, Fleet Street This has the same title as the original 64 page Smith 1746 version and contains the same text in Book II. The Appendices contain several letters one of which is claimed to have been from the Prince himself. I seriously doubt this as his English spelling and grammar were attrocious (he learned from Sir Thomas Sheridan who was no better) whereas this letter is well written.

The book claims to have been published in 1746 but looking at its position in the list from the Gentleman's Magazine it would seem more likely to be in the first two weeks of April 1747. |
